EUMeTrain: Nowcasting CAL Module - Quantitative Nowcasting

There are two different kinds of possible evaluation in the output:

• The quantitative values which have different orders of magnitude for the different weather systems
• The qualitative appearance of the deviation images: Typical shapes and life cycles

For fog:
Mostly very small values and no typical shape can be found.

In this example:
A-A: eastern border of fog
B: some cloud dissolution
