Fronts
There are two different kinds of possible evaluation in the output:
- The quantitative values which have different orders of magnitude for the different weather systems
- The qualitative appearance of the deviation images: Typical shapes and life cycles
For Fronts:
Values of deviation can be high; they appear mostly at the borders of the frontal cloud bands. Despite from embedded Cbs there are no typical shapes.
In this example:
There are several white and black areas indicating new development and dissolution of cloud in the last half hour.
A and B: new developments with more convective character at A (this is also the area of FibJet)
C: the line shape implements the development of high lee cloud (the direction of wind vectors are in accordance)
D: development of cloud at the border of an area of scattered cloud
E: dissolution of higher cloud
