At 00 UTC we find the super cell relative far away from useful reports about the gusts (during the last hour).

9th June 2004: 01UTC
At 01 UTC we do not yet find an according density of reports about gusts.

9th June 2004: 02UTC
The super cell is approaching to an area with a denser observation network.

9th June 2004: 03UTC
At the southern flank of the super cell we observe gusts between Beaufort 6 and 9

9th June 2004: 04UTC
One report of Beaufort 10 can be seen where the southern part of the area with high extending clouds passed over. Due to the coarse network it is very likely that higher gusts occured that were not registered. Although the structure of the V-Notch (see special link) dissolved during the last hour we observe the typical rule that a V-structure of the highest cloud tops is related to severe gusts.

9th June 2004: 05UTC
The whole area of the high extending clouds decreased a little bit. However, gusts up to Beaufort 8 were registered.

9th June 2004: 06UTC
During the last hour a new cell started to develop at the right part of the high extending cloud area. Near the central pass of the convective complex gusts nearly Beaufort 9 were reported.

9th June 2004: 07UTC
At 07 UTC we find a V-Notch-like structure that is normaly connected to severe gusts. However, its western peak moved between two measurement locations. Therefore, we get probably only insufficient information about the gusts.

9th June 2004: 08UTC
Again a V-Notch-like structure developed and Beaufort 9 at the Northeast of the area of high extending clouds was reported.

9th June 2004: 09UTC
During the last hour the cloud tops decreased. In the pass of the most intense convection we still find reports about gusts up to Beaufort 8.
